Potholes loop hike through the Devils Gateway.

Details
Saturday, December 15
Potholes loop hike though the Devils Gateway.
We will hike up a very big hill in the morning and return via Agua Blanca Creek. It will be brushy in places with many stream crossings, one crossing will possibly be knee deep.
http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/e/5/0/8/event_181978632.jpegWe depend on high clearance 4 wheel-drive vehicles for a shuttle. If we don’t have enough of these types of vehicles, the total mileage may be 2 miles longer. If you have one of these types of vehicles, please bring it along.
The total Distance will be 9 miles (or 11 miles) with 2000' of gain. Bring bug spray, head net, lunch, snacks, 3 liters minimum of water, hiking poles, good boots with tread, preferably waterproof, nylon pants that will dry quickly, do not wear shorts because there is lots of brush overhanging the trail and poison oak.
Here is a link to pictures taken on 9/6 if you’d like to see some photos of the hike:
