Pre-Christmas EASY hike/Towsley Canyon Loop

This is a fairly easy 6 mile loop located right off the I-5 freeway. There is about http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/1/c/5/4/event_181987252.jpeg800’ gain in the first 3 miles. There may be some water in the creek, so consider waterproof boots or water shoes. There are some nice geological formations here, riparian areas, and some orphan oil wells and seeps.

Bring: camera, lots of water, snacks

Directions: From Valencia, go South on I-5 to the Calgrove exit. Exit, turn right. Go throughhttp://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/1/e/7/0/event_181987792.jpeg the signal, and immediately turn right into the parking area, and go through the gate to the first parking lot on the right.THIS IS WHERE WE WILL MEET.This parking lot is FREE. Please meet at 8:00 for an 8:15 departure from the parking lot.
