Special Night! 2nd Annual Summer Kickoff Sketchup Party!

We're having our 2nd Annual Summer Kickoff Sketchup Party in conjunction with the First Friday Art Tour in Santa Cruz, June 7, 6-10pm. It's a great opportunity to party and meet other crazy, sketch-minded folks.

Grab a pencil, pen, or charcoal, or iPad, and join the fun! Lots of drawing materials available to use during this sketching free-for-all. Our Sketchup Party is for beginners and pros or curious bystanders. We have all sorts of cool stuff to draw. Sketchers of all skill levels can jump in and celebrate the joy of drawing. And it's free! We're a short distance from downtown Santa Cruz, the Tannery, and various venues participating in the festive First Friday event.

Do you enjoy drawing or curious to learn more about it? The Santa Cruz Learning-to-Draw Meetup takes place in a friendly, creative studio environment. Share your ideas or phobias about drawing. Experiment with materials. Enjoy a conversation over some pencil doodles or dive into some charcoal sketches from life. This is a great opportunity for adults to meet fellow sketchers (or future fellow sketchers) and have an evening of creative fun.We have plenty of drawing materials on hand. If you've got a sketchbook, bring it along. Refreshments are served.
