A Tour of Twitter Bootstrap with Bart Teeuwisse - making websites and apps easy

This will be a great session for anyone who is interested in the latest technologies for building world class websites!

We are very fortunate to have Bart Teeuwisse offer to show us some of what Twitter BootStrap has to offer.

Bart is a growth hacker at Twitter building Twitter's audience by day, DIY contractor building his castle in the Santa Cruz hills by night, and a TechRaising mentor.

Learn why Twitter Bootstrap is the most watched project on Github. If you haven't heard of Bootstrap yet, Bootstrap is a Twitter Open Source project that makes good looking websites easy.

See how Bootstrap can be used by novice site owner and seasoned developer alike. Bootstrap is programming language and development tool agnostic and can thus easily be added to your project.

This talk includes an interactive session where the audience and presenter use JS Fiddle to explore the power of Bootstrap and apply it to their needs.

Meet at 6:30 PM and talk starts at 7 PM

Bring a laptop, tablet and/or smartphone to the talk. We'll be using http://jsbin.com for the hands on portion to experiment with Bootstrap. If you don't have a device then pair up at the event with someone who does. The hashtag for the talk is #trbootstrap.

Hi Renata. Yes, we were very happy with how the logo turned out. Our friends at Studio Holladay (studioholladay.com) did it. They also did out website -TechRaising.com.
