An evening of poetry and music
Momaday and Stuart will present an evening of music and poetry. Pulitzer Prize-winning author N. Scott Momaday will read from his works, accompanied by Lisa Marie Stuart on the cello.
Pre-signed copies of Momaday's and Stuart's books will be available at the event for purchase.
N. Scott Momaday a native of Oklahoma, attended the University of New Mexico (A.B., 1958) and Stanford University (M.A., 1960; Ph.D., 1963). His many published works include The Journey of Tai-me, House Made of Dawn(Pulitzer Prize 1969), The Way to Rain Mountain, The Names (1976), The Ancient Child (1989), In the Presence of the Sun (1992), Circle of Wonder, The Man Made of Words (1997), In the Bear's House (1999) and Again the Far Morning (2011).
He was awarded the National Medal of Arts in 2007 and is the recipient of this year's Stewart Udall Environmental Award[img height="184" vspace="0" border="0" hspace="0" width="153" src="http://www.thelittlecat.com/images/author.jpg" align="left">
Lisa Marie Stuart is a cellist, author, and illustrator of children's books. Her well-crafted and meaningful stories are inspired by her love for the benevolent and magical experiences of life. She lives in Santa Fe.
