Ever Wanted To Check Out Hang Gliding Up Close?

Almost every weekend, I and my fellow hang glider pilots fly from various mountains in the North Bay area.  St. Helena, Elk Mountain and others.

We often need people to drive our vehicles down the mountain when we fly.  Sometimes we will meet the driver right at the bottom of the mountain in the field we land in.  Sometimes we have the driver "chase" us for 50 to 100 miles cross country.

You can learn about the whole process by clicking on the link below:

People who drive for us often say they enjoy the process because they get to:

- Get out in nature

- Go to the top of mountains without having to hike

- Watch the esoteric sport of hang gliding close up

- Have a fun challenge of chasing pilots cross country and being there when they land

- Becoming a part of our fun and adventurous hang gliding community

If you'd like to join us and check out the little known world of hang gliding, contact me, Andy Long, via the email link on this Meetup site or by phone.  You are more than welcome to bring a friend along with you!

Hope to hear from you,

- Andy Long

"Hello Hang Gliding Chaser Meetup Member, Well, it's winter so there's not much flying going on. But as spring approaches we'll be getting out to do some soaring. In the meantime, here's a video for you...."
