Feb 20-21, 2010

Sat/Sun ? 9-6

This weekend (tuition and time) will be credited to any future full design course given by Permaculture Guild.

This course will cover the principles of permaculture, a sustainable design science and art that works with nature instead of against her. These principles open the door to being able to design one?s own life so as to experience the abundance that nature can provide, even in the midst of the city. There are special challenges to being sustainable in an urban environment and we will focus on those. You will walk away with specific skill sets you can immediately apply to start growing food, creating more financial stability, and consciously designing your life to be more sustainable and regenerative. We will get into some of the fundamentals of design techniques that are very practical and will help you think with creating a more sustainable environment anywhere you are. The course will be taught by several experienced permaculturists in specialty areas.

There will be lots of hands on and interactive learning.

Here are some of the topics:

* Edible backyard jungles and food forests, grow healthy food abundantly and easily
* Retrofitting for a new era
* How to design your garden, household, workplace and community like nature does, to experience more abundance while helping the environment
* Creating conscious community and neighborhood repair
* Flourish with a local economy
* And much more

We will offer a full Permaculture Design Certificate Course in the fall of 2010 in the Tampa Bay area.

Cost for workshop: $195 for two days, $110 for one day.

Early bird sign up (before Feb 1, 2010): $175 for two days, $95 for one day

Cost can be deducted from the Tampa Bay area full design course price of $950 (early bird price) if you sign up for the full course later (or any other full design course we offer at any location).
