Introduction to Agility and Picnic

Mark Shambour, dog-trainer and co-owner of the K9 Korral will give us an informal introduction to agility!

If you ever thought about trying agility this is a great time to check it out and see how your dog likes it.

Ace Pet Resort is located east of I75 on Clark Road (State Road 72) on the south side of the street.

Please bring chairs, and water for you and your dog.

Safety first!   This event is On-Leash.  Please do not use your retractable leash at this outing.

We had a lot of fun at the agility meetup! Thanks Mary Lou for organizing this event. I mostly wanted to try out my sister's pom, Biscuit on the agility equipment and to see if Charlie remembered anything from his Agility Basics 101 class he took 2 years ago. I was glad he remembered and also thrilled that Biscuit seemed to catch on so quick. She loves to copy Charlie so whatever he does she does. Thanks again and so nice meeting some new people!

Great group of people out to have fun with their dogs. It was very thoughtful of you to provide snacks. I love all the shaded areas and picnic tables. Would have loved an en enclosed no- leash area. Overall great fun for people and pets.

This meetup is described as an agility and picnic. Does this mean we each bring something to eat or is something provided?

    • Mary Lou D.

We are working on the food details Anne, likely we will provide a little something but people should bring their own sandwich or snackable.

Dogs LOVE agility! It helps to build a stronger bond and closer communication. Rico and I had a blast taking classes and he loved to learn new things and conquer his fears. I would highly recommend giving it a try! So fun !!

I have been so looking forward to meeting everyone and getting involved in your group. This sounds so wonderful and my pug would love it however, I am going to be away that weekend. Maybe next one?
