In December of 2011, More than 100 people showed up to support the proposed legislation to ban geoengineering over Suffolk County, Long Island. The legislation was brought by Cindy and Jim Pikoulas, Siobhan Ciresi with LongIslandSkywatch.com and with help from Rosalind Peterson of AgricultureDefenseCoalition.org. Big thanks to the everyone who attended the public hearing, County Legislator Ed Romaine and everyone at the Suffolk County Legislative office who patiently listened to the impassioned pleading to stop the damaging aerosol operations.
