ScalaWAW is a meetup group for all programmers interested in Scala and its ecosystem, who are based in Warsaw, Poland. We host different types of events: hackathons, lectures, lightning talks, beer talks, preconference gatherings, and even beach parties.

Hello everyone!
Did you know that ScalaWAW actually began in 2015 as a hackathon-focused community? This summer, we're embracing our roots and inviting you to join us for a special Scala Tooling / Open Source Spree!
What's the plan?
This event is all about contributing to the Scala ecosystem. We'll have maintainers of open source projects on-site to present their tools and libraries - and you're welcome to bring your own project too! After the introductions, you'll be able to jump in, collaborate, and contribute. Fix issues, submit pull requests, improve tooling, or just learn from each other.Whether you're a seasoned contributor or a newcomer to OSS, you'll find something for you.
