1 Day + 2 Festivals = 3 Times the Fun!!

Heading into September means Fall is on its way.  Before Fall is here, let's head to some outdoor festivals.  And in the spirit that I will be gone for the beginning of the month in Cali, let's do it up by heading to 2 Festivals!  We will be heading to the

San Gennaro Festival and The Day Life Festival

Here's how the day will look:

12:30pm - We'll meet on the corner or E. Houston and Mulberry St.

12:45pm - Start walking the length of Mulberry St.  This is where the Festival of San Gennaro takes place.  There will be booth of all your favorite festival treats, as well as every type of Italian food you could want (we are walking through Little Italy you know. ;) ).  Outside of the food, they will have live entertainment and cooking demonstrations that we can check.

Whenever we have finished checking this festival out, we will head over to the Day Life Festival in the Lower East Side.  This is a short walk, so don't fret.

DayLife is a 3-block special event that covers Orchard Street in astroturf and pushcarts, and includes the best in LES food and fashion vendors.  It also features activities such as free DJ lessons, badminton, urban croquet, face-painting and two full stages of DJs, bands, and live acts from our friends at The Living RoomTammany Hall, and Lost Weekend NYC .

Both of these festivals are FREE!  Once we have checked out both festivals, we can always head to a local bar, and grab a drink to wash down all the delicious food we've had.

I hope you will join me for some festival fun, scrumptious food, drinks, and of course, lovely conversation with amazing ladies.  See you there!

Thank you so much for spending your Sunday with me. I had a great time stuffing my face with food (I'm still daydreaming about the cannoli cronut.. yum!!), and of course chatting with you lovely ladies. It was a little tough when we got separated, but glad we came back together, and got to bond more over some football and brews! Hope to see all of you ladies again very soon!
