What are a few of your favorite books/authors (of any genre)?

Off the top of my head - Raymond Chandler, Julie Cznerda, CJ Cherryh, (older) William Gibson (older)Neal Stephenson, Ursula Lequin, John Barnes, Julian May, Sherry S. Tepper, Stephen Baxter.

What books/authors are you most interested in exploring?

I tend to get in a rut, and end up picking books by title - so most anything! I like books that make you think, and ones with identifiable characters that I can identify with. Purely highminded ideas (most Azimov, for example) I can get bored with. Actual Science is great, but I also lament the fact that so many authors fear to tread there, for fear of getting stuff wrong. I have a strong weakness for spaceships and post apocalyptic fiction too!

Hi! Uh, I hate bio writing. I'm a 30 something person who lives in Middleton, loves their library, and works for the state. I read about a book every other week or so, due to my bus-route, and work schedule.
