Meet with other local Scopa & Briscola Enthusiasts!

Learn how to play the best, most intense card game there is!

Enjoy the thrill of victory or tremble feeling the agony of defeat.

It doesn't take long to learn or play. We use Italian card decks, but you can play this at home with a traditional (French) deck.

Want to learn on your own? Check out the additional pages here for rules or try out http://www.scopacards.com to play a computer or others round the world. It's fun, but not like having a human being across the table...

This is well enough before the Thanksgiving Holiday so folks should be able to make it.

See you then!

What members are saying

others should join to keep alive a tiny piece of a culture that is becoming invisible in north america. imagine what a legend you'd become when you teach others scopa.

Gino

This is a really easy game to learn and once you do, you are addicted. Better than poker, better than Uno, better than board games. Old Italian men cannot be wrong! Ciao!

“I haven't played Scopa in over 15 years. I associate it w/ a year lived in Europe that has been unrivaled in multi-cultural entertainment. I may not make it 2the meetups often, but I'm happy I know where 2find other Scopa players in an emergency! :)”

“If this is the game I am thinking I love it. My grandma, from Sicily taught me how to play it as a young child. It is called Slopa (sweep in english) you the 8,9 and 10s out of the deck... is that right?”
