Based in Edinburgh Scot Gammon is a club for players run by players  

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month

By providing Scottish players a regular opportunity to play each other in a friendly (but competitive) environment we believe that both new players and those more experienced will enjoy themselves AND become better at this beautiful game. After paying the nominal £1 Annual Membership players have 3 regular playing options: Our Main Event, our FreeRoll competition or Sit-and-Play.   

 

Main Event

11pt KO with Consolation

Entry for most Main Events is £10 with 100% of entry fees being paid out.  

 

The Scot Gammon FreeRoll Competition Entry is FREE for players choosing not to play in the Main event. Match length is shorter and Winner receives a Prize (usually a bottle of wine)  

 

Sit and Play No competition format - just come along and see who is available to play one-on-one, it could be a new player or someone from the Main Event who can fit a 5-point match in...  

 

Times Main Events - registration between 1.30pm and 2pm For the FreeRoll and Sit & Play we are flexible on time and format as we suggest shorter match lengths so appropriate competition formats can be used at short notice according to the number of players wanting to play.
