Methods of Innovation

This is Milk has been chatting away to some bright, forward thinking minds in the Scottish business scene. At our inaugural Milk Bar meet up we're delighted to bring you three talks from some of these great minds around the theme of Methods of Innovation.

First up: Jacqueline Barr, Lloyd's Banking Group, talks to us about bringing innovation to a large organisation through Scrum

Jacqueline is a politics graduate from Strathclyde University, Jacqueline worked for Sky, Marks & Spencer, Compaq, all companies with a strong cultural identity.

For the last 13 years she's been a Project/Programme Manager in Lloyds Banking Group. and led many different types of change in this time. In 2014 and 2015 she won Programme Manager of the year for her division for taking the brave first steps into scrum. Now on our 3rd scrum, they have coached and encouraged many other areas to move in this direction too.

Jacqueline will talk to you about how scrum can help you deliver change in a more inclusive and cost effective way and also the importance of the out of scrum team in implementing what the scrum has built. She'll touch on how just by trying something new we can create energy, an environment of innovation and hunger to keep pushing forward with how we deliver change.
