Please arrive 4pm sharp or a little before, as the class will begin promptly! (And because I really want to go to Mike's CHAINMAIL (https://www.meetup.com/Scouts/events/23976881/) demo afterwards!)

Ever wanted to spin your own yarn? I (Lauren) will show you how using a simple spindle that each person will make and take home! You will also receive a good amount of wool to get you started. Here's what will be covered:

*The basics of spinning: Drafting, adding twist, and winding.

*Spinning methods and their uses.

*The basics of fiber: fiber types, characteristics, and uses.

*Plying: combining your single strands for a strong, stable and balanced yarn.

I will be providing everything you need for this class, so just bring yourself, and wear something that you won't mind getting linty/fuzzy :) This class is free but donations for supplies are welcome if you're able.

You'll have two badge designs to choose from: the one above, and this one:
