Some more information about Operation Smile:

Operation Smile was founded in 1982 by Dr. William P. Magee Jr., a plastic surgeon, and his wife Kathleen Magee, a nurse and clinical social worker. Operation Smile is an international children's medical charity that heals children's smiles, forever changing their lives. They provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate. Every three minutes a child is born with a cleft — often unable to eat, speak, socialize or smile. In some places these children are shunned and rejected. And in too many cases, their parents can't afford to give them the surgeries they need to live a normal life. Since 1982, Operation Smile — through the help of dedicated medical volunteers — has provided more than 2 million patient evaluations and over 200,000 free surgeries for children and young adults born with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities in the United States and around the world. Operation Smile coordinates more than 30 Medical Mission sites in 25 countries annually and have more than 5,000 credentialed medical volunteers ready to donate their time and talent. Your gifts help send them to countries where desperate children are waiting to be healed. A cleft lip/cleft palate surgery costs as little as $240, and can take as few as 45 minutes: but this surgery can change a child's life forever! For more information, please see for more.....

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
