Come watch The Life Aquatic with your fellow members!

Just a few months after Power Scuba started in 2008 we put on a fun movie event. There was a turnout of approx 50% of our membership. While I don't expect to get that this time (we're at 1900 members) I do appreciate my co-hosts, Andre & Erin, opening up their home to our group for a mixer and movie. Come join us! (This will be an excellent way for new members to get to know us too.)

Life Aquatic Synopsis: Famous oceanographer Steve Zissou sets sail with a crew that includes a journalist, a pilot, a man who may actually be his son, and his ex-wife in order to seek revenge on a mythical shark for causing the death of his partner. (Dark comedy.) Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Cate Blanchett, Anjelica Huston, William Dafoe.

WHEN:Mixer starts at 5:00 pm. Movie starts at ~nightfall (around 8 pm).

BRING:

A solidly-good appetizer to share: PLEASE STATE IN YOUR RSVP WHAT SIDE YOU'LL BE BRINGING, to help us with logistics. (It need only feed three or four people.) No more chips or desserts please. A comfy chair to sit in or blanket to sit on. A blanket in case it gets chilly during the movie. If you require something really special to drink, bring it. A member-donor has helped us provide some beer, wine, and soda!

PARKING: This is a residential neighborhood, so parking will be mostly street-side. Do not block any driveways. (Be courteous.) Car pools are encouraged and be patient in finding a spot.

GARB: Everyone wear a tropical shirt or Power Scuba T-shirt!
