Welcome to the Seattle Photography Group!
Our mission is to reveal the huge number of hidden or inaccessible photography activities that can be so hard to find, and to consolidate local photography activities and resources helping our members push their limits and expand their skills both through practice and working with other aspiring photographers.
Our group provides value by offering activities which might be difficult for a lone photographer to set up, such as fashion shoots with aspiring models, studio rentals, car-pooled field trips, fashion shows, night walks, photo-critiques, knowledge sharing, etc. The group also provides motivation to its members to get outside and take pictures.
Our top secret strategy is to provide a diverse set of activities each week by recruiting and empowering exceptionally talented and broadly skilled assistant organizers. To become an assistant organizer one needs to have a passion to organize events which relate in some way to photography.
The Seattle Photography Group is open to amateurs and professionals alike, but will cater mostly to advanced amateurs with a passion to take it to the next level. We welcome new members!
