What we’re about
A casual book club for women over 50 who are avid readers and enjoy a rich dialog about what they have just read. We're looking for a unique blend of folks from diverse backgrounds to read a wide array of genre which will bring a robust conversation to the table. We meet the second Wednesday evening of the month at Panera Bread (7635 W Bell Rd, Peoria, AZ 85382). Some of us meet at 6:00 PM for dinner beforehand to save a table and socialize.
We are limiting the size of the group so that we all have a chance to contribute to the discussions. You must answer questions to be approved for membership. Please provide a photo or verify in your response that you are a 50 plus year old woman.
Membership dues are $6 every 6 months payable at your first meeting. We ask that you attend 2 meet-ups per quarter/ 8 annually. Meet-up has recently raised their fees and in order to keep our rates reasonable we will be monitoring attendance.
