Windows Azure on Android

Hello folks!

I'm pleased to announce that Chris Risner, of Microsoft, will be presenting on Windows Azure for the Android platform!

Learn how Windows Azure Mobile Services make developing your Android apps a breeze with a feature rich and easy to use backend. We'll go over how you can take advantage of structured data stored in the cloud, send GCM push notifications with a single line of code, add authentication and secure your app, and much more. All of this with a native Java SDK built for Android! We'll go over each feature and see how to use it with live coding demonstrations.

A bit about Chris:

Chris Risner is a Windows Azure Technical Evangelist at Microsoft. There he is focused on connecting Windows Azure with mobile apps. He has been working with iOS and Android development for the past several years. Before working in mobile development, Chris worked on many large scale enterprise applications in Java and .NET. Chis is a constant learner who loves technology of all flavors and has a vast amount of experience in iOS, Android, Smart Clients, Asp.Net MVC, C#, Java, and Objective C.
