8:15 - open devops discussions

This meetups main topic will have the group learning the basics of Ansible. We will walk through these actions:

• Installing Ansible on your Controller

• Running Ansible Modules

• Create a user

• Securely changing the users password

• Install a package using sudo

• Running Ansible Playbooks

• Create a server

• Create a user on that server

• Download & compile a program

• Configure and start cpuminer to mine dogecoin

• Installing Ansible Tower

If you have never used Ansible or any other Configuration Management tool this will be a great opportunity to learn the basics. The goal is for you to be able to go home and move your manual SysAdmin work to Ansible. We will follow up the Ansible Basics walk-throughs with an open discussion about DevOps Culture.

This meetup will be packed full of great lessons and discussions so it cannot be missed!
