In this talk, we will take participants through a hands-on lab going from raw data to graph processing in GraphLab Create. We will use data from a Kaggle competition and show how to explore it, visualize it, and perform graph analytics on it using GraphLab Create. Please bring your laptop and GraphLab Create (http://graphlab.com/products/create/) already installed. Along the way we will also discuss where we are headed with GraphLab Create, and will demo a couple unreleased features.

Speakers:

• Rajat Arya, Software Engineer @ GraphLab

• Yucheng Low, Chief Architect @ GraphLab

Rajat has been with GraphLab since the company was formed and has been focused on GraphLab Create in production and the cloud. Prior to GraphLab, Rajat has worked on large-scale systems at Amazon Web Services, AddThis, and Microsoft.

Yucheng has been with GraphLab since its roots as a research project at CMU. Much of the algorithmic innovations in GraphLab have come from Yucheng's research. Recently he has been focused on scaling GraphLab data structures (both horizontally and vertically), and much more.
