Let's meet and discuss the municipal broadband feasibility study!

The City of Seattle just released the City of Seattle Fiber-to-the-Premises Feasibility Study (http://www.seattle.gov/broadband/broadband-study), a study commissioned in December 2014 as part of Mayor Ed Murray’s broadband internet strategy. The Cable and Broadband Committee will meet to discuss some of the broader conclusions of the study.

We'll also spend some time discussing the cable franchise negotiation between Centurylink and the City of Seattle (http://www.seattle.gov/cable/centurylink.htm).

We are also interested in reviewing and discussing the Seattle 2035 Comprehensive Plan (http://2035.seattle.gov/). When a draft of this document becomes available to the public (expected release is sometime in June), we will review and see if there are any gaps in the plan that technology might address.
