What we’re about
Do you love classical music concerts? Do you get fascinated by symphonies and operas? Or, are you a fan of intimately appealing chamber music? Would you like to discuss about a particular interpretation, share your own experience as a listener or a performer, or put forward your own musical thoughts? Here we are, looking forward to build an active community of friends connected by the love for music. Throughout the year we have an exciting schedule of numerous classical music offerings in the Puget Sound and neighboring areas - ranging from big concerts to little humble recitals. Many of these events go unnoticed from the large audience due to lack of publicity. Yet most of them are as exotic as it could be. Through this community we wish to launch into a treasure hunt for these secret gems. Share the news and recommendations for upcoming performances so that we can make plans to attend. Be it the Baroque, Classical, Romantic or Contemporary - whatever is the style, we are up for it. This is your chance to enjoy the essence of classical music in a fun, casual and spirited atmosphere with a group of like-minded people. All we need is a music lover like you! PS: We have recently renamed ourselves from "Seattle Chamber Music Meetup" to match our broad scope of interests.

See all- Emerald City Music: Concert and Documentary about "Mother"415 Westlake Ave N, Seattle, WA
Dear Classical Music Lovers,
In honor of Mother's Day, please join us for a special evening with Emerald City Music themed around the idea of mother. There will be the premiere of a documentary by local filmmaker Carlin Ma about the idea of "Mother" interspersed between works of music curated by artistic director and violinist Kristin Lee on the same theme. It should make for an enlightening evening.
We will plan to meet up before the performance and during intermission in the main lobby - I'll be there starting 60 minutes prior (7:00pm).
