For our January meeting we'll be joining the new "Seattle Web Application Developers Group (https://www.meetup.com/Seattle-Web-App-Developers-Group/events/42180442/)" (ex-Flex User Group) for a presentation on "Developing Apps With PhoneGap". Here's the official meeting description:

"In this presentation Ryan Stewart, web developer evangelist from Adobe will cover some of the basics of creating and deploying PhoneGap applications. The meeting will take a look at a number of different JavaScript frameworks that can be used and what kind of features they provide. Then it will cover the setup of a PhoneGap project, and deploying and testing PhoneGap applications across different devices."

For those of you NOT familiar with PhoneGap - it's a tool that can be used to create mobile (Android, iOS, etc.) applications using HTML5 and JavaScript. More info about PhoneGap can be found at: http://phonegap.com

NOTE: We'll be meeting in the same Adobe room as last month, though we're expecting a good turnout - so please get there on time to make sure you're able to get a seat.
