What do you hope to achieve in a couple of hours?

Haha... meant to do <ctrl> + <enter> but just pressed <enter>.

      1. Meet like-minded people
      2. Learn something new about a technology you're unfamiliar or semi-familiar with
      3. It is possible to build something simple in a few hours
      4. I think they're hoping that projects are ongoing, so making progress on something that already exists or starting something new that will be an ongoing project

At the last event, I only spent a few hours, but I was able to try out d3.js, which is something I'd been wanting to do for a while.

Good list Hakon, that pretty much says it. The plan is to make this a recurring thing, and in the future we will likely have demos of projects and talks/announcements from folks in gov agencies.
