You are invited to join Intel to participate in a one-of-a-kind Seattle hackathon with Intel Edison at the SoDo Makerspace. Sign up as soon as possible, spaces are highly limited. There will be cash prizes and free Intel hardware to hack on!
Intel® is hitting the road for the 2015 (http://bit.ly/IotHackSEA)IoT Roadshow series (http://bit.ly/IotHackSEA) and Seattle (http://bit.ly/IotHackSEA) is the first city stop on their global trip! It's all hands on deck at this exciting hackathon because Intel® will be giving the first 100 attendees who have registered a free Intel® Edison™ Developer Kit (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/do-it-yourself/edison.html). This developer kit comes packed with tools based on Intel® architecture and designed to be hardware and software pin compatible with Arduino. Plus it includes lots of cool sensors, software and accessories to stimulate your creativity.
Don't worry because there will be a workshop to teach you how the software and tools in the board works. After that the tinkering begins! Ideas will flow, teams will form and the hacking madness will go into the wee hours. On top of that, there will be several challenges so you can win some great door prizes!
Free food, drinks and a reception to wrap up all the fun! You can work in teams or solo, but on top of the free kits, winners will leave with not only bragging rights, but even more prizes.
One first place winner will land a $1,500 Amazon gift card, two second place winners get $1,000 gift cards each, and three third place winners will get $500 gift cards each. The chances aren’t too bad, right?
