Datameer provides a powerful analytics solution built on Apache Hadoop that helps business users access, analyze and visualize massive amounts of data. This presentation and demo will provide a technical deep-dive into how Datameer extends your Hadoop cluster.

Matt has been working in enterprise software of over 10 years in various capacities, including sales engineering, strategic alliances and consulting. Matt currently runs the pre-sales engineering team at Datameer, supporting all technical aspects of customer engagement through roll-out of customers into production. Matt's areas of expertise include middleware infrastructure software, SOA, business rules, business intelligence and, most recently, big data and Hadoop. Matt holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.

Our format is flexible: We usually have speakers who talk for ~30 minutes each and then do Q+A, plus discussion.

Take the 2nd right onto Terry Ave N

From Downtown (Columbia Building):

Head southwest on Columbia St toward 4th Ave
Take the 1st right onto 4th Ave
Turn right at Virginia St
Turn left at the 3rd cross street onto Westlake Ave
Turn right at Harrison St
Take the 1st left onto Terry Ave N
Parking: Visitor parking is available in the underground parking garage on Harrison and Terry (directly under the Amazon building) there is also street parking and surface parking lots.
