Seattle Hardware Startup: Our August Meetup is on!

Hi everyone,

August is almost gone and the time has come to connect the dots and meet again at the Nytec Innovation Center. I am pleased to let you know that Marcello Lioy, director of engineering at Qualcomm, is joining us as our guest speaker. Marcello is the development lead for AllJoyn (https://allseenalliance.org/), a new communications protocol for IoT (AllJoyn to IoT is like HTTP for the Internet). Marcello has been involved in various roles with the AllJoyn project since 2010, and is going to tell us more about this standard and why over 100 hardware and software companies all over the world are supporting it (as well as my startup.)

Our Meetup will start at 6pm with cold beer and good pizza. As always, you'll get a chance to pitch the community with your updates, needs and wants between 6:30-7pm, and Marcelo will speak to us between 7-7:30.
