What should be listed on Seattle Jazz Scene Meetup?

Hi all, I read the "about this group" charter doc, and it says this group is about local jazz created by local musicians, but not big names coming in from out of town.  That was written by Yogi when there were 15 members.  I want to know who feels strongly that it should or shouldn't be that way.  If you have a strong feeling about it, let me know, so we can preserve what most of this group's members want.

When I see a meetup named Seattle Jazz Scene, I think of the whole scene, which by the way is pretty darned vibrant (ok especially on Tuesdays and Sundays).  Some local, some national.  I for one would love to join a meet up event to go see Herbie Hancock or Chick Corea, for example.  But maybe that's for another group, etc.  Please tell me how you want it.

One more thing-- I see people are not event organizers (well there are 20 of them).  Do you want to be an organizer? If so, speak up please!  All it takes is agreeing to be the person who makes sure people get a chance to get tickets near each other, or meet before or after the concert, etc.  And it makes it so much more fun for everyone!  So please, if you're going to jazz concerts right now, you're already a leader, you just need to become an organizer and you'll be meeting more friends along the way.

Thank you for all the great emails and suggestions, please keep it coming.
