Social Hour at Taste of the Carribean

This social hour will be on Sunday, January 31st from 2pm to 4pm. We are thrilled to have the event at the fantastic Taste of the Caribbean restaurant in Africa Town/CD. Get ready to enjoy a wide array of delicious Jamaican cuisine infused with spices. Check out their website here:

The purpose of these social hours is to promote the economic development of the community at different restaurants owned by people of color. It is a great opportunity for members to connect outside of meetings and for newcomers to meet us and learn more about our branch. We invite everyone to enjoy great food and to continue to support the businesses that we highlight after the event is over. These small actions help build community and mitigate the harmful effects of gentrification. Everyone is welcome
