Building with Bagged Earth Workshop
Hosted by Seattle Permaculture Meetup
Details
Come to an introductory workshop on the techniques of building using an
ancient, durable, cost-effective method using earth-filled bags. Bagged earth
can be used to build raised beds, garden "rooms", root cellars & more. Earth bag construction is a type of rammed earth. By filling sacks with dirt &
a small amount of cement, you can create beautiful, strong structures - even
houses! During the workshop we will be building a small bridge. It is simple to
learn, so come along & have some fun!
