SHORT VISIT
A 2 or 3 night stay on the farm. You work side by side with your hosts; could be cleaning, weeding, harvesting, fixing, building...whatever they need and you can do. You camp in your own tents and take your meals with your hosts. Expect a fair amount of work (not 1-2 hours in the garden...this is a working farm, folks), but lots of learning to be had.
- Available Dates: June 28 to July 1, July 5 to July 8 (4 or 5 spots), wknds Aug 23 thru Oct
- Limit 6 people per wknd
- $10/person/day
- Bullock's Permaculture Homestead supplies tools/gloves/etc
- You bring tent/sleeping gear/work clothes/rain-uv hat & sun screen/water bottle, etc
- You don't need to supply silverware/plates/cups/food/etc.
- Expect solar showers & outhouses
- Solar powered charging stations are available if necessary.*
- No pets
*These are not reliably regulated stations. They might be hard on your equipment. They are not meant to power much more than ipads and phones. BPH is not responsible for any damage to equipment hooked up to the chargers. Phone reception is poor & spotty, anyway.
