Permaculture Winter Solstice Party
Hosted by Seattle Permaculture Meetup
Details
Come one! Come all! to a family-friendly community celebration of delicious food and drink, great live music featuring the Gypsy Jazz of Mouce Manouche, dancing, fabulous company, and stimulating conversation. Jenny Pell and Michael Suzerris are hosting at their beautiful studio, OmCulture, in Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle.
What to Bring:
--Delicious local organic finger foods and drinks (BYOB and to share). We will have spiced cider and mulled wine.
--Musical instruments to play & stories to tell
--Dancing shoes
--Your whole family
--Lots of friends (we can fit up to 200 people)
Cost:
$7 - $15 sliding scale per person at the door. Don’t have cash? Come early to set up, or stay late to clean up!
Abundance:
In the spirit of the third ethic of permaculture, “share the surplus”, we are asking everyone to consider bringing a gift or offering that we will give away throughout the evening. Ideas – a massage, seeds from your garden, jams and jellies, homemade goodies, two hours of help in the garden, gift certificate to local businesses, artwork, oyster mushroom kit, raspberry canes, day at the spa in Lynnwood, dinner for four at your house, music lesson, maid service, ham radio lesson, … get creative!! If you can’t bring a gift that’s just fine, please bring yourself!! Our beautiful selves sharing a Winter Solstice evening together is a lovely gift to each other.
