Mother Earth News Fair
Details
Mother Earth News hosted its first fair last year at the Puyallup Fairgrounds and it was a great success, so they are returning again this year. Take the sounder train down from Seattle and walk 10 blocks to the fairgrounds to enjoy Saturday and/or Sunday full of great exhibitors and workshops on permaculture/sustainability related themes. The fair is $15 advanced, $20 at the gate, or $25 for the whole weekend, so buy tickets in advance.
Sustainable Tacoma/Pierce and other permaculture advocates will also be in attendance, and the Wolf College and SongCroft School are also teaming up to offer an outdoor booth and stage including complimentary demonstration workshops all afternoon on Saturday & Sunday. You can see our schedule at http://www.motherearthnews.com/fair/ws-pu-wolf-college.aspx and then clicking through on the "here" link for the latest weekend schedule.
If you would like to team up with us to offer a demonstration, or have any other ideas, send a message to me, Kelda Miller, or to the Mother Earth News Fair contact link, as I think they have some scholarship booths still available in the showplex. See you there!
