Monthly Wine Social and Critique: Stuffed Animal

Each month, 15-20 photographers of all levels get together to discuss each other's images with emphasis on composition.  The beginners learn from the pros, the pros learn from each other and we all have a good time with wine/beer to boot.  Join us for at Vino on the Landing in Renton for a Monday evening for our monthly Wine & Critique Social.

THIS MONTH'S THEME:  Stuffed Animal
Take a small stuffed animal and photograph it enjoying the area - seeing the sites, stopping for a rest, a drink, etc. If someone asks what you are doing, just pretend that you don’t speak their language.  Remember, composition, light and gesture still matter!

RULE:  All images should be taken during the month prior to the event

Bring your 5 images on a flash drive, SD card or CD.

There is usually a waiting list on these meetups.  Please do not RSVP and not show up.  Honestly, cancelling an hour before the event is the same as being a no-show!  Preference will be given to those who have donated to the club during the current year and/or have not no-showed past Vino events.

It takes a lot of time, effort and money to keep this club going.  We ask for an annual $20 donation.  If you have not donated in 2013, please consider contributing $20 or any other amount by CLICKING ON THIS LINK or going to the meetup page and use the link on the left side of the page.

    Hello everyone.....
I have two Nikon Mount Lenses for sale which I will bring to the meetup tonight. The first is a Tamron AF[masked]mm F/4-56 LD with Macro 1:2 ($175). The second is a Tokina 1-16mm F2.8 ATX-Pro ($450). Both lenses are in great shape. I also have a L viewer my wife got for me which I have never used. ($50). If I don't sell them tonight they will be on ebay tomorrow.....

Sorry I cannot make it. I'm down with a cold. Not what I expected for a Monday. I'll plan for the next one, however, because I enjoy these unique sessions and the people who attend.

John, I don't know if you do get notification but usually it works just to show up and have your images ready because there may be no-shows. If you get to show your work, great, and if not, you still get to see others' work and participate in the critique while having a glass of wine.

I'm sick and can't make it tonight. I did the assignment this weekend in Vancouver with Priscilla the dragon. I'll share a pic. Sorry to miss you all.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
