Yes, there is a quiet area at Marlene's - it's actually their classroom area upstairs, away from the deli and cafe where other people are. There are tables and individual chairs, so no one will be stuck in a booth with no way to get out.
Like the meeting at Tully's on Capital Hill, this is an opportunity to just meet and talk to other sensitive people who live south of Seattle. Conversations range over a wide variety of subjects and there is often an exchange of ideas on how to cope with various HSP issues.
Please do not bring any outside food or drinks into our meeting. One of the reasons that we're able to use this room for free is that we patronize their deli. They have coffee, tea, apple cider, fresh juices, etc., as well as a buffet and other cool food that sensitive people can eat.
I hope to see you there.
