I found out through researching social anxiety disorders and panic attacks on the internet. Meetup.com suggested this group. :)
I am super sensitive to strong smells, especially chemical type smells, noise, and light. It feels like my senses overload and I have to withdraw from whatever situation is triggering the upset. Because of these reactions I do not go into social settings very often at all and choose to spend much of my time in my own hone where I am able to control the noise level, smells, temperature, and lighting.
Learning, reading, hiking, anything family-oriented, movies, holistic healing, massage therapy, and aromatherapy.
Fellowship with others who understand our over-sensitivities. :)
