When and how did you become aware that you're an HSP? And how did you learn about our group?

I think I've known for a long time—plus I've had people tell me that I am more sensitive than a lot of people. Also, until the last few years, I've usually fluctuated between INFP and INTP. (I'm probably back at INFP again, but there has been a J or two along the way during the last few years.)

Have you read any of Elaine Aron's books about the HSP trait? Which ones?

How have you experienced being an HSP? Please share a couple of examples of how being Highly Sensitive affects your life.

I can't say that I know the finer details of what constitutes a highly sensitive person, but: I tend to be sensitive/perceptive to nuances and things unspoken; my mood is often influenced by my surroundings (whether or not other people are present); I tend to see more than one side to a given situation; etc.

What sort of activities do you enjoy? Besides just "meeting to talk," what sort of activities (if any) would you enjoy, as part of an HSP meetup group?

That would depend on the other people present. As long as Mexican food, Indian food, and sporting events aren't involved, I like to think I'm pretty flexible.

What do you hope to get from your membership in our HSP meetup? (i.e. friendship, activity partners, support, networking, etc)

Again, a lot will depend on the other people present. That said, I am looking to expand my social circle at least a little bit.
