Want to build your own imaginary friends? This talk focuses on quirky, funny, non-spamming twitter bots, introducing you to some fantastic examples of the genre, and guiding you through some basics of the Twitter API. Get introduced to libraries and corpuses you might want to use and get inspired to make bots that will surprise you and your friends and make you laugh.
Our speaker:
Elizabeth Uselton is an alumna of the first class of Ada Developer's Academy. Previously a video clerk, a costumer, and a bicycle delivery person, she now works at EnergySavvy where she makes energy efficiency software. Her favorite topics to program about are twitter bots and outer space.
