Paddle the Winchester Wasteway

Details
I am going to do the Winchester Wasteway in central Washington in April. I will also be doing the Frenchman Hills Wasteway on Thursday and Friday prior to this and will meet you at the launch site either Friday night or Saturday morning.
We will launch early Saturday and overnight on the Wasteway. Sunday we will paddle down to the waterfall and portage into Potholes Reservoir and continue the paddle to where we will post some cars at the State Park there. It is a 20-25 mile paddle but with the flow until we get to the Reservoir. I do plan to bypass the Road C takeout and do the waterfall portage. The last 2.5 miles can be a little tricky so I am classifying this as a Class 3 paddle and not for beginners. (especially since this is a first for me)
You will need your own boat, paddle, and all kayak and camping gear for an overnight. We will be camping on a sand bar part way down Saturday night. You will need to provide all the water you need for the two days. Feel free to bring your fishing gear, I'm bringing mine.
IMPORTANT - You need to read this description of the paddle BEFORE you sign up. I want everyone to have a good idea of what to expect. http://www.justgetout.net/Wenatchee/23425 - This is a detailed description of the paddle.
Here is a 2010 paddle description. http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2010/apr/04/desert-delight/

I will be putting up some more information as we get closer to the paddle. We will have a group dinner on Saturday night. I will also reserve the right to take folks off the list if I don't believe they have the ability to do the paddle. Since I haven't done this before I will be a little more demanding of the skill level.
Dinner:
IMPORTANT - If you have not filled out your profile information in the Sea Kayak Meetup information please do so. Failure to have a completely filled out profile will cause you to be dropped from the paddle.
AND AS USUAL - All my paddles are one strike you're out... I will monitor the site up to 3 hours before we launch for cancellations. (for this paddle the cut off will be Wednesday before the paddle unless an emergency happens) But if we launch and I haven't heard from you that is a no show and you will no longer be welcome on my trips. Please don't sign up unless you really think you can attend. It isn't fair for the other paddlers. As usual, I will manage the trip numbers based on extra organizers and the paddle experience of the people who sign up. So jump on the waiting list because I frequently up the attendees. Thanks.
Thanks.
Larry
