We will launch out of the Port Ludlow Marina and paddle up to Mats Mats Bay for lunch. The marina allows free lunching and parking. We can use their kayak dock also.
I have listed the ferry schedule below. It is about 19.8 miles or 30 minutes from Kingston to Port Ludlow. The crossing time is around 30 minutes. So the 7:50 crossing is about as late as you want to be.
We can ride the outgoing tide up to the bay, take a break and then come back with the tide. My plan is to leave Port Ludlow around 9:30am which should get us up to Mats Mats around 12:30 allowing for viewing on the way. Then we can take a short lunch break and wander around the bay until around 2pm when we will get out of the bay and ride the incoming tide back to Port Ludlow.
Maybe we can stop in Kingston and have a bite to eat on the way home. I know Sunday is Easter but thought a few of us could get in a Saturday paddle.

You will be expected to have all your own gear, kayak, paddle, pfd, and all immersion gear. I will be watching the weather in case we have a bad wind weekend and have to cancel. We will not cancel for just rain so don't sign up if you don't paddle in the rain.

IMPORTANT - If you have not filled out your profile information in the Sea Kayak Meetup information please do so. Failure to have a completely filled out profile will cause you to be dropped from the paddle.
AND AS USUAL - All my paddles are one strike you're out... I will monitor the site up to 3 hours before we launch for cancellations. (for this paddle the cut off will be Wednesday before the paddle unless an emergency happens) But if we launch and I haven't heard from you that is a no show and you will no longer be welcome on my trips. Please don't sign up unless you really think you can attend. It isn't fair for the other paddlers. As usual, I will manage the trip numbers based on extra organizers and the paddle experience of the people who sign up. So jump on the waiting list because I frequently up the attendees. Thanks.
