Amit Dhingra - Department of Horticulture and Landscape, Washington State University. "Genomes, Transcriptomes and Gene-assisted Breeding in non-model crops using 454 sequencing." Amit is a well known plant genomics scientist and played a major role in the apple genome project. His lab is current working on the genomes of other important WA state crops including the cherry tree.
