Seattle Sequencing Interest Group Meeting
Details
This month's presentation will be from our member Don Rule. Don will be presenting "The Importance of Being
Structured:Evolving clinical records to incorporate genomic data". The abstract is below.
Abstract
"The dramatic reduction in costs for genetic sequencing is motivating a rising number of clinical applications. The HL7 Clinical Genomics working group working accelerate the adoption of molecular technologies by providing frameworks and implementation guides that will dramatically lower the cost of interoperability. This talk will describe current and emerging standards and explore the use cases and existing protocols that will inform the standards development process. It is intended to be interactive and designed to be a catalyst for discussion of clinical genomics within the Seattle community."
See you there!
