• SparkCLR: C# language binding for Apache Spark
SparkCLR is an open source project from Microsoft that adds C# language binding to Apache Spark enabling the implementation of Spark driver code and data processing operations in C#. SparkCLR makes C# a first-class citizen for Spark development and with that developers can implement C#-based Spark jobs for batch, interactive/SQL and stream processing. SparkCLR repo is at https://github.com/Microsoft/SparkCLR .

• Auditing Kafka messages using Spark
Audit Trail is a system to bring enterprise grade data quality to cloud based big data ingestion at Microsoft. The system is built using Kafka and Spark, and processes audit signals to measure latency and completeness of the data pipeline.
