The Seattle Sport Tech Meetup on Wednesday, July 30 is the inaugural gathering of the Emerald City’s top tech talent.

We are very excited to announce our guest speaker - Taylor Soper of GeekWire!

Taylor is a reporter for GeekWire, a Seattle-based national technology news website. He has a background in sports media, having covered the Washington Huskies and Seattle Mariners while in college. Taylor is interested in the crossover of sports and technology. He's also a diehard Trail Blazers fan and avid golfer.

We are a group of sports fans, entrepreneurs, scientists, developers, engineers, and anyone who is interested in the intersection of sports and technology today. Each meeting will feature a different guest speaker in the field and examine the arena from the game itself to the game-within-the-game.

Our goal – make Seattle the home of sports technology and the place teams, leagues, and fans come to learn how fans will interact with sports technology in the future.
