On this hike, we will ascend the tallest and most remote mountain in Tiger Mountain, East Tiger. We will begin by riding the 554 bus from downtown Seattle to Issaquah, then take the 209 from Issaquah to our trailhead at the junction of I-90 and exit 20. From the trailhead, we will hike up to the summit of East Tiger. Our return trip will take a slightly different (and longer) route which will finish directly in downtown Issaquah, avoiding the need to wait for the hourly 209.

On a clear day, the summit of East Tiger has a great view to the south of Mt. Ranier and the south Cascades.

Elevation gain: ~2500 feet
Distance: ~13 miles (~5.3 up, 7.7 down)

This is a fairly strenuous hike, so please make sure you are able to handle the distance and elevation gain before signing up.
