Mardrona/Arboretum Traverse

Come explore the parks on the east side of Seattle! We will start in downtown Seattle and work our way towards Lake Washington through the Mardrona neighborhood. From there, we will turn north and head through the Arboretum, finishing up at the corner of Montlake and SR-520. As an added bonus, we will get to experience some rare quiet on the north section of the arboretum near the freeway, as the freeway will be closed the entire weekend for construction.
Distance: About 6.5 miles
Elevation gain: About 500 feet. Most of this will be near the beginning, getting out of downtown.
Time: About 3 hours
We will meet at the patio at the south side of Westlake Center downtown, at 4th and Pine. Look for me in the patio on the north side of Pine St., just east of the Starbucks.
