Building a Massively Multiplayer Game with Unity3D - SUUG 2012 Aug

Marvel Super Hero Squad Online is one of the biggest Unity3D based browser MMO games (if not THE biggest), and we are very excited to have our very own Chad Berry, who was one of the key developers on the game to come and talk to us about the journey of creating a multi-player of massive scale with Unity!

Very awesome turn out and met lots of new contacts for improving my skills as a game developer in the field and industry. Can hardly wait to attend the next event!

Great guest speaker; I really enjoyed hearing about how Super Hero Squad was built (the networking was interesting, but I was especially interested in hearing about the size of the team, the length of work, the monetization model, subscriptions, performance issues, etc.). Fascinating!

Yea, I'll try to make it myself. Have a few ideas to discuss, when the time is right.

If any of you get there early, save me a spot. Am planning to be there between 6 and 7pm (depending on traffic n such).

I am so excited for this one! I'm setting up the framework for something a little "Realm of the Mad Godish" right now and I've never done it before!
I'll be in the front row with my notebook for this one!

Is anyone else working on something similar? I'm on fire for it right now, and would love to compare notes sometime before the end of August!

Ouya... exciting! Especially in the hyper-crowded mobile market right now, having the opportunity to launch with new hardware is a great idea. Any projected release date on the Ouya yet?

It is tentatively and vaguely March 2013 -- but I would not be surprised if it slips. That's just extra polish time though!
